OMA – Automated System Migration Support Tool
Desktop application developed for CERP Annecy**, designed to manage and optimize pharmaceutical products within their logistics automation system.
Pharmaceutical product management software

- C# WinForms and SQL Server
- CSV import and automatic calculation of positions within the automation system
- Logistics flow optimization
- SHA256 + salt security and SSL communication
- Accurate product tracking within the database
Monthly import from AS/400
Each month, sales data from the company’s AS/400 system is imported into the OMA application. The data is automatically cleaned, consolidated, and analyzed to generate key indicators for logistics management.
Using precise algorithms, the software automatically calculates picking frequency, sales density, product turnover, and average order volumes. This information helps anticipate needs, adjust positions within the automation system, and improve overall performance. It also contributes to reducing errors, detecting stock shortages, and optimizing logistics flows. Thanks to this tool, CERP Annecy benefits from proactive and efficient management of its pharmaceutical automation system, improving customer satisfaction and business profitability while increasing its automation rate.

This data enables fast and reliable decision-making for logistics optimization.

Intelligent data correlation
On the left, a local database for products. On the right, a database used to record automation errors.
The OMA application correlates these two sources to identify the real actions to take. By cross-referencing product data and automation errors, it makes it possible to qualify and resolve logistics situations efficiently.
Intelligent automation system optimization
Based on the processed data, OMA automatically calculates the optimal position for each product within the logistics automation system. The criteria include:
- Sales density (number of boxes sold per day)
- Picking frequency
- Ideal channel height (small, medium, large)
- Channel utilization rate
If a product exceeds density or volume thresholds, it is automatically redirected to the store to ensure smooth operation of the automation system. This approach delivers maximum performance and reduces picking errors.

The generated reports are archived to ensure historical tracking and full traceability.
